I am receiving the error 800B0001 only on my x86 Win7 Pro install. This happens ONLY when I am using WSUS but if I check for updates from the internet, it works fine. WSUS is configured the same on my x64 Win7 box and my test x64 Win7 virtual box. Do you guys have any idea what is causing this only on the x86 Windows7 Pro when using wsus but not checking from internet?
I am not sure where this should go but the keys for these installs are from MSDN.
I had the same error - reason was that the WSUS server did not yet have the latest update, while the client already had it. The new client doesn't trust the old (unupdated) servers.
